Debut at Habana Clásica Festival

Habana Clásica Festival with Sarah Willis, Marcos Madrigal, and the Orquesta de Cámara Música Eterna

For the first time in Cuba, Giulia Rimonda represented Accademia Chigiana as part of the Habana Clásica festival in a unique and prestigious chamber formation: a trio with the artistic director of the festival, Marcos Madrigal, enriched by the participation of Sarah Willis, the principal hornist of the Berliner Philharmoniker, one of the most sought-after artists on stages worldwide.

On December 2nd, she returned to perform as a soloist with the Orquesta de Cámara Música Eterna, conducted by Guido López-Gavilán, for the concluding concert of the fifth edition of the festival. The program included the premiere of "Poema," a piece dedicated to her by the Argentine composer Pedro Osuna, and Ravel's Tzigane.
